A new feature has appeared in the functionality of subscriptions to observations - subscription to lifers! Now you can subscribe to observations in the region of interest for those birds that you have not seen yet. The program will automatically determine which birds you have not seen and will send by mail a list of cards in which other observers have indicated this type of bird. Customization.

Integration with GBIF

Remember the proverb "What is written with a pen cannot be cut down with an ax"? So about bird watching can also be said. You saw the bird, entered it into the database, then scientists used this data, referring to you in their article. That's it, your name is inscribed in history, and you, with a sense of moral satisfaction, can settle down with a glass of wine.

New features of online diaries

In the "Online observation diaries" database, you can now load a kml file with an arbitrary region (for example, the territory of a reserve or native forest). Accordingly, the report can now generate a list of views for any arbitrary region within the specified boundaries. For example, it is already possible to generate reports on observations of Losiny Island and the Caucasian Reserve. Any member of the database can create an arbitrary region. Examples of results are shown in the screenshot. Fig. 1. Observations in.
